|Funny Hat + Pricey “Wallpaper” = Wisdom (allegedly)|
Like all other human beings who are walking through this thing called “life, ” it seems I’m always learning something new. Whether it’s from old, time-tested ideas and doctrine, new experiences, or (most painful and unfortunately most common) mishaps I get myself into, there is a lesson to be learned in everything.
I suppose having been a teacher, I tend to look for lessons in everything.
With every lesson learned, there is a story to be told, and with every story told, there is a lesson to be learned. Of course, as the protagonist, I’m pretty sure my antics and blunders will bring some comic relief into the narrative. But I also hope that, by committing such events to paper (well, weblog) with a little reflection, some amount of imitation, moments of trial and error, and a good sense of humor, I’ll come out a little wiser in the end.
And perhaps, that “fourth wall” between writer and reader will blur a bit, and reader can also partake at my expense.
I can already feel the bruising what little pride I have left is likely to take.
Feel free to enjoy at my expense.
