"August Wardrobe Remix [Day 25 of 31]": Cheater!

Dress – Old Navy Chambray Shirt Dress; Shoes – G.H. Bass & Co. Outlet Taupe Flats (old); Necklace – New York & Company (no longer in stock); Watch – Anne Klein White Ceramic Diamond Watch (from Macy’s)

Happy Sunday, folks!  Hope you had a restful weekend thus far.  As for me, between the golf outing yesterday and the shouting/partying neighbors in the building in the OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE (yes…THAT loud), it has been less than relaxing, to say the least.  Hence, this outfit.  This would be as close to wearing pajamas in public as I could get – the dress is THAT comfortable!  And with the day being so hot, the fact the dress did not cling to my body in any way, shape, or form was definitely a positive.  Only negative?  Apparently, the dress wrinkles easily…today was the first day I wore this dress since I ironed it, and look at it now!

Well, two of three is pretty good.  The dress wins.

One additional piece of news from this weekend – I have cheated on my month-long shopping hiatus.  Today, I went to New York & Company and purchased two pairs of dress/work pants.  I am ashamed to say I couldn’t make it to the end of the month without purchasing something.  However, with no work-appropriate pants left that actually fit me (remember THIS post?) and the store having a “Buy One, Get One Free” sale on all pants and jeans, I couldn’t pass up on such a great deal.

So…I admit defeat this time around…but just wait!  I’ll make it up to you all.
By the way, if you are in need of work/dress pants (or even jeans), the NY&Co sale is on until Monday, August 26th…so check it out!  And while you’re there, you could mention that they should give me something for referring you to their store – perhaps in the form of one more pair of work/dress pants (because the ones I bought fit me so well and are so comfortable!).
I really shouldn’t do all this free advertising for stores on my blog.  But when I like something, I like to share with the 20 people who will give me the time of day and read my blog.  After all, saving money is something EVERYONE enjoys doing, right?
You’re welcome.
