As summer comes to a close here in Michigan, I’m mentally preparing myself for the cold, snowy weather to come. This includes starting to pull out my Fall/Winter wear and deciding which summer items to keep in the closets and which to put into storage.
But before Fall decided to finally make its presence known, I wanted to try copying an outfit I saw on Pinterest that seems to be very popular (SOOOOO many repins!!). I knew I had a VERY similar lace dress and a “sweater” that was of similar material and shape, so why not?
The end product actually doesn’t seem to resemble the original at all. Some of it probably has to do with the fact that the girl wearing the original outfit probably weighs the same as me but has about 3 to 5 inches on me in height (darn stereotypical Asian female genes). Being longer and leaner, the outfit fits and looks very different than it would on shorter me. So the moral of the story – different body types can easily change to look of an outfit.
