Everyone please direct your attention to what I wear upon my feet. This pair of shoes is a piece of my wardrobe which I have been searching high and low for about 8 months now. According to the fashion powers at be, nude heels are an absolutely necessary staple piece in one’s wardrobe. Why?
- Nude heels go with ANYTHING (literally)…because what goes better with any color, pattern, texture than your own flesh tones?
- Nude heels naturally tone down the busiest, most colorful outfits.
- Nude heels help give the facade of long, lean legs.
I’m not normally one to like wearing heels – I can’t stand any sort of discomfort to my feet. This pair, however, is tolerable (I won’t say comfortable…because that would be lying), not to high with ample cushioning. I just need to break them in some more. Unfortunately, since I can’t stand foot discomfort, I’d rather avoid wearing these for an extended period of time. It’s like the Catch-22 of footwear – how do you break in uncomfortable shoes when you don’t like wearing uncomfortable shoes?
